THREE BRIEF ITINERARIES

Highlights cruising Auckland – Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands

7-9 days

  • Waiheke Island best known for great seafood, superb wine, and art trail
  • Mercury Island and Coromandel Peninsula, imagine remote sandy beaches, stunning backdrop of forest and mountain peaks reminiscent of Pacific Islands
  • Remote, forested, sparsely populated, an almost Utopia. Great Barrier Island is about walking tracks, hot springs, seafood meals with locals
  • On the northern coast a world-famous dive site
  • Set in beautifully manicured grounds is the Treaty house at Waitangi overlooking the magnificent Bay of Islands, where visitors are told the story of New Zealand’s colonization and the treaty signed between Maori and the British crown in 1840.
  • A visit to Kerikeri where first encounters took place and a walk amongst the Kauri giants at Puketi is enough to awaken the appetite with a meal and wine at a local vineyard.
  • The deepwater anchorage at Pekapeka Bay, is a haven for bush walks, swimming, kayaking and diving.
  • Fly to the northern tip of New Zealand and visit a traditional navigation school, or
  • Take a helicopter to historic Hokianga harbour, and ride a jet ski to the giant sand dunes. Enjoy the freshest seafood BBQ ever while hiding out in a hidden cove.

Returning to civilization is the last thing on your mind.

Highlights road trips Taupo/Napier cruising Wellington/Marlborough and Able Tasman/Nelson Bays

7-9 days

  • Super luxurious Huka Lodge a haven of peace and tranquility after day of exciting adventure
  • Road trip to bountiful Hawkes Bay and art deco city Napier. Lunch at a 6000-acre luxury resort
  • Cruise the rugged east coast to Wellington our Capital city
  • Across the turbulent waters of Cooks Strait to the sheltered waterways, bays and coves of Marlborough Sounds
  • Visit the vast vineyard region made famous because it produces the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world
  • Awaroa beach – golden sands fringed by the forests of Able Tasman Park

Akaroa/Mt Cook/Dunedin/Queenstown, Stewart Island and Fiordland National Park

7-9 days

  • The east coast of the South Island provides some of the best nature-watch experiences. Whales gather in the trench at Kaikoura, Hectors dolphins – a highly endangered species frequent at Akaroa harbour, unique penguins nest on the Otago coastline and at Taiaroa Heads, in Dunedin harbour there is a colony of Royal Albatross that breed on the rugged headland.
  • Mount Cook National Park and Glaciers are a short flight from Akaroa, and Queenstown, our premier après ski and summer adventure resort, can be reached from Dunedin
  • Stewart Island is 95% forested national park with reserves and conservation areas preserving its unique flora and fauna. Its dark green waters frequently visited by Great White sharks.
  • Fiordland has world heritage status. Spectacular ice-carved fiords, lakes and valleys, rain forest, thundering waterfalls, rugged granite peaks and pristine mountain to sea vistas. Entering Dusky Sound and traversing the myriad of waterways is an enthralling experience. Without doubt, it is one of the world’s greatest wilderness areas. Our best advice is to remain still and allow the senses to absorb all its natural beauty.

We can build separate unique itineraries for superyachts cruising Auckland and Northland; Napier, Wellington, Marlborough, Abel Tasman; Akaroa, Dunedin, Stewart Island, Fiordland and so on.

For a very small country, New Zealand can offer more in fewer miles than any other country on earth. Wherever you travel in New Zealand, you will see spectacular scenery: from the glaciers to the alpine regions, from rolling plains to rugged fiords, long white sandy beaches to compact urban centres.
