Catalano Shipping NZ is a premier superyacht shoreside support agency in New Zealand. Based in Auckland, the main superyacht hub, our yacht services cover all aspects of shore support; such as immigration, customs formalities, obtaining charter permits and guiding through the local tax policies, provisioning, bunkering, uniform supply, itineraries, crew placement, management of refits and much more.
We source and provide everything from sim-cards to accommodation, accounting services, and can handle boat’s deliveries. All our services are clearly detailed, with full reporting available for the vessel or management company.

Inspired by the unlimited possibilities of the world’s largest archipelago Catalano Shipping Services and the A-Gents network have provided the highest levels of service to superyachts throughout the Mediterranean for decades.
Catalano Shipping Services decided the time was right to offer the same levels of service to those who ventured East and West. First, we established a marine hub in Singapore – for hundreds of years the staging-post for voyages into the tropics – with CSS Singapore, a team highly focused of providing fuel, provisions, spare parts and services. In short, everything you need before heading out into the expanse of Asia and the Pacific beyond.
The next logical step was Indonesia: the world’s most diverse and untouched cruising destination. The final frontier. The Ring of Fire. A land beyond time.
To cover superyachts through 15,000 islands, 3 time zones and 600 airports requires an experienced team and Catalano Shipping Services Indonesia has put together the most accomplished and experienced team with decades of combined experience in the country and region.

Duthie has grown up around boats with his family having been involved in the marine industry for generations. He is a keen sailor, a qualified boat builder and a Superyacht Captain.
After being involved with a few Superyacht new builds, Duthie is now shore-based and still working in the industry that he loves. He understands the pressures and time constraints that come with working on a superyacht, especially when in port. This is where his expertise comes to the fore.
Duthie is always available and happy to help; no job is too large or too small. Making what seems like impossible tasks possible is just part of his job.

Johns leads from the front as a professional guide, cultural expert and travel manager.
He puts into practice his expertise, providing the Captain and the crew with quality information and insights to cruising and touring New Zealand. John is at his best when he works closely with Guests to ensure they get to experience exclusive and authentic New Zealand lifestyle and culture. His knowledge of the country is legendary, as are his networks and connections to people throughout New Zealand and the Pacific. This is a huge advantage, realized when last-minute changes or instant requests have to be met even in remote places.
Sharron Lidgard

Sharron is the accounts payable and receivable for Catalano Shipping NZ. She has been involved in the Marine Industry for a number of years both in both New Zealand and overseas.
With regards to finance, Sharron ensures all invoicing for both local and offshore vessels are using their Tax-Exempt status correctly for all purchases during their stay and is familiar with the charter process for the Superyachts ensuring Tax is settled where necessary.
Sharron has many interests; however, family will always be at the top of the list. Whether it is her husband, children and grandchildren or her work family, they are all very important to her.
